Taking considerably less time than becoming an attorney, the associate degree in paralegal studies will still put you into the fast-paced life of attorneys and the legal system.
The paralegal, sometimes called legal secretary, studies many different aspects of the law and helps the attorney to make the case for or against those who enter into the legal system. The paralegal in an attorney’s office will typically have about a year of schooling they are required to take, usually done in a technical school, or often in a community college. These legal secretaries are in high demand and those who excel at the paralegal studies may literally work where they like.
